This is an easy way to learn the order of major events in the Bible.

Who came first: David, Jesus, or Abraham? Teach your kids to know the timeline of Scripture with a simple song.

This song hits the highlights of Bible history from creation to Christ’s return, including the four hundred years of silence between the Old and New Testaments.

I originally wrote it for my Sunday school class, but I think the first time I’ll use it will be the Family Event at First Baptist Church Shawnee, OK, on Feb. 12. Hopefully someday I can get it into a video with pictures. Until then, I hope the words bless you, your children, and your church.

Prayer Prompts

Pray that your family, my family, and those in IA, MN, WI, and SD stop and ask God how to best use our time.

Ask God to convict all of us of ways we may be crowding Christ out of our lives. Ask for clear direction about what activities to stay involved in and which ones may need to stop for a season. Ask God to show us all clearly how to keep Him first, no matter what.
