Thursday Jan 24- 5 pm to 9 pm– (snacks provided – bring your own water) and Friday Jan 25-9:00 am -5 pm (Lunch and snacks provided bring your own water) this is a “re-choired” event.

Soundscape!!
There will be a meeting for Soundscape parents and students on Tuesday Jan 22 at 6:30 pm in the Choir Room regarding the Florida trip. Please plan to attend. I will give information regarding luggage requirements, we will talk about transportation to the airport and other logistics.

Volunteer Opportunities!! We NEED you!!
Please take a look at the volunteer needs for the next few months at the choir signup link http://signup.com/go/VBWvzSE and for quick reference, the list below. The actual time required for most of these events is so small, and it's true that "many hands make light work." Volunteering at the concerts is especially easy. If you are attending anyway, please consider coming a little early to feed the kids, hand out programs or sell concessions. You are still able to fully enjoy the concerts.
Upcoming events where volunteers are needed
- Saturday, February 2 (9 pm to 9:45 pm at Mission Mill): Titan Auction Clean Up. Volunteers receive complimentary tickets!
- Tuesday, February 26 (time TBA): OSU Choir Festival (CT only), chaperones needed
- Tuesday, March 5 (7 pm at West): Intermediate Choral Festival (Cantare & MIB), check-in & ushers needed
- Wednesday, March 6 (time TBA at West): Choral concert with visiting Concordia College. Food servers, Ticket sales & Ushers needed
- Wednesday, March 13 (7 pm at West): March Choir Concert (all choirs), pizza servers, concessions & ushers needed

Enjoy yourself at the 2019 Titan Auction!
February 2nd, 5 to 9 pm
Mission Mill Spinning Room
The Titan Auction is a great way to support the West Salem High School Choir Program. It’s an 80’s theme, so wear your favorite retro outfit and be ready for fun, games, food and beverages!
Tickets are available at www.wshs-edfoundation.org, $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
We are collecting items/funds to make Silent Auction baskets with themes for Theatre, Wine, and Garden. Or, you can donate a basket of a different theme or a Live Auction item.
We are also asking for white elephant gifts (unwrapped please).
Any auction items can be dropped off to Lisa Nell either in advance of the event or by 8:30 am the morning of the event at the Mission Mill. Contact Lisa Nell at choirtitanauction@gmail.com or (503)559-8368 (voice or text) with any questions or to schedule early drop off.

Canada Trip News
May 23-27,2019
CT and Asteria will be attending a festival over Memorial Day Weekend 2019. Information was emailed. Monthly payments due on the first Monday of each month through May thereafter.
Parents/Guardians interested in chaperoning this trip:
Chaperone applications will be available on the website sometime this week.
Chaperones do not pay for their travel and hotel.

Choir Clothing Closet
Please consider donating outgrown clothing to our Choir Clothing Closet. We welcome black dress pants and both men's and women's black shoes. Donated items will be made available to students in need of them.
