January 2019 has started out a bit tough, emotionally, with the loss of two of our supporters, both of whom have faithfully contributed greatly to our ministry. They leave a legacy of God's Word reaching many people.
Here is a picture of my Dad, who just graduated to Heaven.

But we don’t want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you don’t grieve like the rest, who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. For this we tell you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will in no way precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with God’s trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever. —1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 (WEB)
On January 5, our friend and faithful prayer partner, Mary Redmond passed into eternity. Lori and Mary used to work closely together at Life Choices Pregnancy Center in Longmont, Colorado. Tom and Mary Redmond have been faithful partners and friends since we started our missionary adventures. They frequently hosted us when we visited Longmont.
On January 17, my Dad graduated to Heaven. I am blessed with loving, Christian parents, who raised me up to know the love of God and to have a deep respect for God and His Word. They laid a firm foundation for my life and ministry. Dad kept working right up to the end, even though he had a comfortable retirement fund, just so he could give generously to support God's Work through church, the Gideons, and Christian missionaries. Even though he had been battling serious health issues for a long time, he kept doing what good he could as long as he could. I'm sure God said "Well done, good and faithful servant!"
Christmas 2010. Dad was happiest when surrounded by family.
