On Friday, February 1, the Middle School will host Brunch and Books. This is an opportunity for you to come and tour the school, shop with your child, and have brunch in the Middle School classroom. We also strongly encourage any family members (grandparents in particular) who have never had a chance to see the school to come for the occasion. Registration for returning students continues through January 31, 2019. Beginning Friday, February 1, registration will be opened to new students. If you have questions about registration, call the school office at 318-445-0138 or the business office at 318-787-2726.
If you have extenuating circumstances (such as a government shut-down), please contact Ms. Flaherty to discuss registration.

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held, Tuesday, February 12. Reserve your time by following the link sent to your email from Google Classroom.
Remember, conference day is a school holiday for students.

Monday, February 4, is the kick-off for a new program at MEC. We will be participating in the Kid's Heart Challenge sponsored by the American Heart Association. The program will begin on Monday with a gathering of students; more information from that gathering will come home with your child. On Friday, February 15, students will be able to participate in various cardio activities in order to raise money for the American Heart Association.
