Learn How to Heal Your Gut

Gut health is all the rage right now, and rightfully so! Doctor Will Bulsiewicz (also known as Dr. B) is an internal medicine doctor and expert gastroenterologist. While his conventional medicine training did not include any nutrition study, science was emerging about the power of diet to treat gastrointestinal disease. He began studying it in his own time and discovered the untapped potential of a healthy gut. Having witnessed amazing results with his patients, he decided to spread the word beyond his clinic.

Our diets (the chemicals we use to process our food), environment (the chemicals we use to clean our homes), lifestyles (lack of sleep, lack of movement, stress), medications (antibiotics) can destroy the delicate microbiome we rely on for health which can cause a variety of issues. In a recent episode of the Food Heals Podcast that I co-hosted, we discuss everything you need to know on how to heal your gut! Click here to listen.

Join the Wellness Masterclass

Your energy and motivation are direct outcomes of how well you take care of yourself and how intentionally you interact with the world. Are you hitting the mark? How well do you handle stress? How well do you treat those around you? How confident, productive, and present are you? Do you wake up with enthusiasm or do you usually frown at the coffee pot?

We become well when we address not just our physiology, but also our psychology. My all-time favorite high performance coach, Brendon Burchard, shares strategies for setting goals, discovering purpose, and ultimately being more effective, fulfilled, and engaged. I've been reading his books, taking his courses, and using his products for years now and I hope you will join me in taking his latest FREE masterclass! *

Get a Cleaner Shower

Do you use a shower filter? Many people filter their drinking water and then forget about their shower water, which is just as important! After all, your skin is your largest organ. Aquasana makes the shower filter I use and love because it improves air quality, enhances water pH and removes over 90% of chlorine. I've noticed a huge difference in my hair and skin, which both feel healthier and softer after using the filter. It's made with a natural coconut shell carbon to filter out chlorine and other harsh chemicals, and copper/zinc further reduces chlorine and enhances water pH balance. It's easy to install, only needs to be replaced every 2 years, and it's on sale until January 31st! *

Let's Cook Vegan

Have you seen this new vegan cookbook?! Five years ago, popular blogger Brandi Doming of The Vegan 8 overhauled the way she and her family ate after a health diagnosis for her husband. The effects have been life-changing for them. Her recipes rely on refreshingly short ingredient lists that are ideal for anyone new to plant-based cooking or seeking simplified, wholesome, family-friendly options for weeknight dinners. Each of the 100 recipes uses just 8 or fewer ingredients to create satisfying, comforting meals from breakfast to dessert that your family—even the non-vegans—will love. Try Bakery-Style Blueberry Muffins, Fool ’Em “Cream Cheese” Spinach-Artichoke Dip, Cajun Veggie and Potato Chowder, Skillet Baked Mac n’ Cheese, and No-Bake Chocolate Espresso Fudge Cake. View this cookbook as well as some others I love here.*
