How can I grow and step out of my comfort zone?  The goal of this event is to encourage every member to do something that will help them in their spiritual growth. I am asking everyone to do one of the things listed below that you have never done before here a POC
 
These are the areas I am asking every member to participate in.
 
Invite someone to church
Attend a Bible Study 
Give a tithe
Serve in a ministry (Greeters, Ushers, Media, Health, Choir, WMU, Youth dept., Brotherhood)
Pray Daily with a partner
Begin - continue reading your bible daily
 
I want to encourage you to try something new to grow closer in a relationship with God.

Mental Health Issues

Depression, anxiety, and stress. Many factors, including unrealistic expectations, financial pressures, Family pressure and excessive commitments can cause stress and anxiety.. ... Headaches, excessive drinking, overeating, and insomnia are some of the possible consequences of poorly managed stress. Stress can lead to even more critical issues like domestic violence, child abuse, elder abuse, and even suicide.

THE MALE CHORUS

The POC Male Chorus is inviting all the men of People of Christ to join us in lifting our voices in praise. The Male Chorus will sing every 4th Sunday during the morning service. We will practice after every 2nd and 3rd Sunday Service of the month and at 6:30 the Thursday before the 4^th Sunday of the month.
