Emergency Department Research Associate Program
This course, titled “Emergency Medicine Research Internship” was recently developed last spring. This course is designed to expose students to clinical research in the emergency department setting. This course includes all of the initial training required to function as an EDRA, plus working shifts as an enroller in the Strong Hospital Emergency Department. The course will meet twice weekly for 75-90 minute sessions.  The course is credit bearing, and students who successfully complete the internship will be given first priority in the hiring process for paid EDRA positions.

If you are interested in becoming an EDRA and would like to receive information about when the application is available for Spring 2020, please email EDRA Supervisor Nick Frankiewicz at
Nicholas_Frankiewicz@URMC.Rochester.edu.
The Kearns Center Newsletter is an open forum to allow our students to share information. The Center does not endorse or make endorsements of any candidates for student elections and positions.
