           NEWS

garagErasmus signed a Memorandum of Understanding
with the other ESAA members

This year 2019 started with an important step forward to the Erasmus+ Student and Alumni Alliance. GaragErasmus, the Erasmus Students Network (ESN), the Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA) and the OCEANS network signed a Memorandum of Understanding, corner stone of the future collaborative framework of the alliance. The Memorandum defines ESAA's mission as follows:

Strengthening higher education quality
Enhance and strengthen European Higher Education through the skill development of students.

Spreading Erasmus+ and widening participation
Promote the Erasmus+ Programme and increase visibility and participation across the world in both Erasmus programme & partner countries. Different target groups define the different approaches & focus given to the type of Erasmus+ promotion.

Social Inclusion, Empowerment & Participation
Empower young people to be active global citizens, improve intercultural understanding and cross-cultural communication and advocate for social inclusion and equality.

Capacity Building
Build capacity and train the ESAA Member Organisations and their volunteers in topics central to the provision of support at the Organisations' grassroots levels.

          NEW gE4

Say Hello to gE4Bologna!

gE4Bologna is the latest association joining the expanding network of the garagErasmus Foundation! Here some words of presentation from its initiators: gE4Bologna is formed by a group of young people specialized in a wide range of fields, including but not limited to: non-formal education, international cooperation, communication & marketing and social work. Our mission is to provide and promote mobility opportunities for young people in order to help them improve their skills and to make them grow in the sphere of education, active citizenship, entrepreneurship and social awareness. We decided to join the garagErasmus family because we share the vision and  the goals of the Foundation. Furthermore, considering that Bologna last year was the first University in Europe for the number of Erasmus students, the presence of garageErasmus in the city was essential! We are looking forward to cooperating with all of you! The gE4Bologna team”.
