FREE ART CLASSES 2019 Schedule
This Month I will resume teaching the Adult Craft Class at the David A. Howe Library held at 3:30pm on the 4th Wednesday of each month as part of their free adult programming.

Feb 18th 1-3pm Emoti-coloring ~ages 8 and Up, learning to draw emojis with mood-full colors
Feb 19th 1-3pm Global Visions ~ages 8 and Up, drawing the change we want to see in the world
Feb 20th 1-3pm Tangled Observations ~ages 8 and Up, drawing contours from observation and tangling designs within the results.
Feb 21st 1-3pm Weaving Around ~Yarn Art 4 Kids, ages 8 and Up, making butterflies
Feb 22nd 1-3pm Upcycled Art ~ages 8 and Up, Basic quill-style wall decor from upcycled cardboard tubes
Feb 23rd 1-3pm Upcycled Art ~ages 8 and Up, weaving basic baskets from newspaper
*All activities require an RSVP by Feb 10th. Please provide your name, your child's name and age.

IN HONOR OF EARTH DAY
April 22nd 1-3pm ~Woven Landscapes, ages 8 and Up, basic weaving with yarn and natural objects April 23rd 1-3pm ~ Ephemeral Art, ages 8 and Up, using found natural objects to explore organic patterns in nature to create temporary art in the Creative Wellness Garden April 24th ~CLOSED April 25th 1-3pm ~ Wild Allies, ages 8 and Up, art activities to identify organic friends in the Wellness Garden April 26th 1-3pm ~ Twig Art, ages 8 and Up, make a hanging planter out of found twigs and natural objects April 27th 1-3pm ~ Seed Paper, ages 8 and Up, paper-making for beginners *All activities have an RSVP by April 10th. Please provide your name, your child's name and age.
These Free art activities for local youth are made possible by the Allegany Arts Associationwith funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by Tri-County Arts Council. on South Main Street in Wellsville, NY.
Located walking distance to farm market (across the street),
and (one mile from) grocery store, bank, library, pharmacies, etc. INCLUDES
• Utilities, Wifi, trash pick-up, private room w/closet,
• Clean, non-toxic, shared: kitchen, common room/gallery, bathroom, laundry room, enclosed porch, deck, Registered Wildlife Habitat Wellness Garden, Composting, and #trashfree goals.
• Usual Quiet Hours: 11 pm to 8 am w/ timely notification for special events.
• Rear parking for one small vehicle (*Snow removal not included.) Rent $350 per month. Security Deposit $200

Signed Roommate Agreement, Rent & Deposit required prior to move-in.
Roommate agreement terms are month-to-month for the first 90 days with an option to continue month-to-month or establish
a 6 month term agreement at the end of the first 90 days.
There is a $25 monthly credit applied to your payment during months that you manage snow removal at the front of the studio in addition to clearing your own driveway. Other pre-approved credits negotiable for assistance with studio and seasonal property maintenance. Clean & Ready for upgraded move-in March 1st 2019.
Clean & Ready for as-is move-in February 1st 2019. Security Deposit waived if you would like to neatly prime and paint the room with approved materials prior to move-in. If you are a local woman artist who would like to be considered for the $50 monthly accommodations stipend to support women artists while you reside at SheilaLynnK Art Studio,
please submit three digital samples of your most recent work
via email and attach your CV/Resume with your rental application.
