Measuring:

Liquid or Dry?

Liquid or dry?  Yes there is a difference! Baking requires the most accurate measurements possible so the product turns out the same each time. Teaching correct measuring techniques provides a skill youth will use for a lifetime.

What is Folding?

What is Folding? To combine without stirring or deflating a mixture.  Gently combine two or more ingredients or a delicate mixture into a heavier, thicker one by cutting vertically through the mixture and turning it over by sliding the mixing tool across the bottom of the bowl or pan with each turn.

Muskin says it can have an emotional impact akin to practices that are intended to more directly affect mood, such as meditation or breathing exercises, reports Amanda Mull in her article The Rise of Anxiety Bakinga December 18, 2018 HEALTH feature in The Atlantic magazine.
