Romans 1:9 "God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son."
Dear CBC Family,
This is coming to you very early this week because I wanted to give you enough time to respond to what I will share below.
Saturday night is our annual business meeting. It will begin right after the evening service right around 6:40. The goal is to be in and out in an hour. This is an important meeting as we will be voting on the new Statement of Faith. The meeting will be different from years past. For example, instead of an open mic we will address questions people have sent it. That means if you have a question, please email me by Friday evening so I can make sure to include it. The weekend the sermon will be from Romans 1:9. The message is called “Serving God with my spirit.” This will be a very important study as we see how God is, and isn’t, served. We will see the means of service, the context of service and the focus of service. This will be tremendously helpful for any who are wondering what the Lord wants them to do. I pray you will join us as we grow together in our understanding of His ways. It is my desire that from this study many will understand how to use their gifts and talents in new ways to “serve the Lord with gladness.”
