An inclusive economy is one that creates opportunity for all people of all backgrounds and experiences to live with dignity, to support themselves and their families, and to make a contribution to their communities.
Many members of B Local PDX have participated in the Inclusive Economy Challenge, with great results. But our work is far from done. We welcome and encourage your participation in the Inclusive Economy Challenge, and both B Lab & B Local PDX will be here to support you along the way.
As a challenge participant, you'll receive stories for inspiration, emails with tools and resources, and connect you to experts and dedicated changemakers to help you achieve the goals you set. Sign up here to join the Challenge.
There’s still time for you to confirm you’re taking part in Year 3 of the Inclusive Economy Challenge. B Lab requests that companies register by January 18, 2019. By registering, you’re committing to choosing three or more goals from the Inclusive Economy Metric Set to improve on before the B Corp Champions Retreat in the fall. You don’t need to know your goals before you register — we’ll send guides to help you choose the goals that make sense for you. Please sign up at bcorporation.net/iechallenge and set your company's goals in your B Impact Assessment by this Friday.
And don't worry--if you can't make this deadline to get all of your stakeholders on board, you are able to sign up for the challenge anytime.
