Registration for Choral Festival is closing Friday, January 18th! As long as registrations are submitted online, payments simply needs to be postmarked by the 18th.
This year is going to be the biggest festival to date. We are excitedly preparing for our Children's Choral Festival featuring Laura Farnell on February 23rd at the Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts in New Albany. Laura Farnell is an active choral composer, clinician, accompanist, and adjudicator who especially enjoys working with middle school students. Take a listen to Shout Out Your Joy—a Farnell composition to be featured at the festival.
The festival includes full day, elementary and middle school student workshops, followed by a student performed concert. Even better, it will be no extra work for you, as we will provide rehearsal tracks for the middle school choir. The elementary choir will learn all of their music on the day of the event.
I encourage you to invite all of your singers to take part in this amazing opportunity. I guarantee they will return with an enriched excitement and enthusiasm for singing.
