Facebook will be introducing some of its political advertising policies in additional regions in the coming months ahead of elections in the EU, India, Nigeria, and Ukraine. Under this new policy, political marketers in Nigeria and Ukraine must be located their respective countries to purchase ads. Facebook says each country requires its own approach due to local regulations.
UK-based digital money transfer company, WorldRemit, has launched operations in South Africa, IT News Africa reports. The company currently handles money transfers from the US, UK, European and Asian countries to over 40 African countries.

HP Inc. Africa has appointed Elisabeth Moreno as its new VP and MD. She replaces David Rozzio, who will be joining up with HP’s executive operation in Europe. Moreno has previously worked at Dell and Orange, as well as most notably being GM for Lenovo in France.
