Back on the road and ready for more adventure!
 

We had a great week in Acton, California last week! The beautiful landscape and quiet beauty away from the hustle and bustle in L.A. was so relaxing. We met new friends who were also staying at the same park. They’re a family of 6 living in a tiny house! We’re hoping we can reconnect with them again while we’re in California. 

We did make it into LA a few times to check out Santa Monica (so beautiful), Venice Beach (so interesting), and a little bit of Hollywood. The most "Hollywood" thing we did was actually out in the middle of nowhere, hiking through Vasquez Rocks. Even if you haven't heard of it, you've probably seen it.

Southern California weather hasn’t been as good as we hoped lately. We’ve had a lot of rain and cold temperatures. We know they need the rain though, so we’re trying not to be too bitter about it ;)

On Tuesday we drove back to sister Kayla’s house and had some great family time with the parents. Lots of food, lots of games, lots of fun!

We are now on our way to Big Bear, where we will get to spend a few days with the kids in the snow! Since it’s been snowing a lot up there lately, we were forced to leave our RV down in the valley while we explore Big Bear.
