Hello AZSA community!
We would like to invite you to our upcoming Adopt-A-Park event at North Mountain in Phoenix this Saturday, 1/19 beginning at 9:00 AM! The cleanup should last roughly 3 hours. Some of the tasks we perform include trimming and hauling overgrown brush, invasive species removal, native tree plantings, trash pick-up, and general trail maintenance including sweeping walkways.
If you plan on attending, please come prepared wearing sunglasses and/or a hat, closed toed shoes, long pants, and long sleeves. Please also wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle. We will provide additional water, snacks, tools, and work gloves.
The address for the event is: 12950 N 7th St, Phoenix, AZ 85022, USA. Look for the Phoenix Park Stewards work trailer and our AZSA table and banner!
