Join us for a Parenting Panel on January 27, 2019, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. It will take place at Cornerstone. More information to follow. Parents of teens and pre-teens have always faced significant challenge and now even more with the current societal and technology challenges.  Yet while times change, principles do not, which is why we are having experienced parents (who have been there and done that) as well as a professional therapist (Karen Anderson, LCSW, wife of Dr. David Anderson- founder of Safe Families) provide their insight into the art of parenting.
The Parent Panel night will be a great opportunity for members of the church to invite people they know who could benefit from such an event.  Childcare is being arranged.

9:00 am Sunday Adult Class - Join us in Room 1 this Sunday as we continue our series "We Believe."

Introducing our first vlog.  Under the Resource tab on the website you will find a new section: Vlogs. Through this resource you'll hear Pastor Manny speak on topics that can help us in our walk with the Lord.  Feel free to share these vlogs with your friends and family through social media or email.

Elder's Corner
Greetings Cornerstone,
As we move through the Explore God series, I encourage you to participate and to continue in prayer as I know you are doing.  My service area as your elder is ministry care and benevolence.  I enjoy sharing in your challenges and rejoicing in your praises, as together we witness God’s involvement in our lives.  I applaud the Cornerstone Family for your care of one another.  So many of you keep me and our Elder Board apprised of the needs and challenges of our members and attendees. It is a privilege to uphold you in prayer. I am encouraged by your testimonies. The Elders administer the benevolence monies to those who, from time to time, are in financial need.  Your generous gifts make this possible. God is good and His mercies are new every morning. Whenever possible, I am available for prayer and praise after the 9 am service in the front of the worship center.  I encourage every one of you to fill in the prayer request forms so that all of us may participate in prayer as we have been instructed by our Lord to do.
We see the hand of God on His people here at Cornerstone and we will strive to persevere and obey Him as together we rely on Him. “The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” Lam.3:24

-Frank Tessien

Ministry Enhancement Plan
Ministry Enhancement Plan

How Does The Ministry Enhancement Fit Into Our 3-Year Vision?
Cornerstone, in the next three years, will create a culture that inspires Christ-like believers whose lives reveal God’s goodness and equips mature leaders who multiply to impact our community and beyond. We will strive to develop strong leadership while further equipping our saints for the works of service. Our ministry enhancements are tools that will assist us in our journey to disciple our own and reach the lost. We want to utilize our facility in the most efficient manner. Repurposing rooms helps people make better connections. Additionally, an expanded foyer encourages people to make personal connections within the congregation. First-time visitors and newcomers will have a welcoming atmosphere to meet others.
For complete information and to participate in the Ministry Enhancement Plan with your much-appreciated donation, please visit the Cornerstone Website and click on Give/Building Fund. Please note that giving envelopes labeled "Ministry Enhancement - Building Fund" are available and may be found inside the friendship folder in the Worship Center pews or at the Welcome Center.
