Annual Congregational Meeting
This Sunday Following the Service!!!

LOTM belongs to us all so it is important for all of us to participate in thne annual meeting. Together we will celebrate our 2018 achievements, learn about happenings behind the scene, and vote on the 2019 budget, an amendment to the constitution, new council members and several other leadership positions. Regular and seasonal members may vote at this meeting.  A member is defined as someone who communes regularly and donates financially.  We will need a quorum to vote on these important items, so please plan to attend.
Childcare provided.

Join us for WORSHIP
Season of Epiphany January 6th- March 3rd
Epiphany means MANIFESTATION- God's presence in our life,
God's work in us and in our world. God works through us.

So, how do we manifest God's presence in the world?
By being kinder than necessary!

 Be A Little Kinder Everyday!

In the season of Epiphany, we are going to practice being little Christs for the sake of the world. Last Sunday you received an index card. If you were not here, just use any card you have at home.
On one side of the card write things you’d like to do to connect with other members of LOTM. So, if you are over say 50, make an effort to get to know someone under 50 (or pick a different age number), invite a member you have not seen in church in a while to attend with you, invite a family that you don't know very well  to dinner. Be creative and think outside the box.

On the other side of the card write acts of kindness directed toward people outside of the LOTM community. Or combine outside and inside and invite an non-church friend to attend a service at LOTM with you. Please hang onto your cards and we will collect them at the end of next month and compile a list of all the random acts of kindness we do as a church. We will use them during Lent for inspiration. So, have fun being kind to all people. It may become a habit! During the Season of Epiphany we will continue the work that begins at Christmas time:

When the song of the angels is stilled,
When the star in the sky is gone,
When the kings and princes are home,
When the shepherds are back with their flocks,

Then the work of Christmas begins:
To find the lost,
To heal the broken,
To feed the hungry,
To release the prisoner,
To free the nations,
To bring peace among peoples,
To make music in the heart.

LOTM Website
Please, click once a day on our website link: http://lordofthemountains.org. The more "clicks" are there, the higher our position on Google analytics. Which means that when a total stranger is looking for a church and is using Google search for Lutheran churches in the area, our church website will show up first. Whether you read something or not on our website is irrelevant. You just need to open the web page once (or more times) a day. THANK YOU! pastor
