OACC SPOTLIGHT
Shu Yi Liu, fondly known as Mr. Liu, has taught at OACC for more than 20 years. He currently teaches a calligraphy class and painting class. Mr. Liu was drawn to the center because of its proximity to the Asian Branch of the Oakland Public Library and to Old Oakland. "OACC is located at an optimal location for crossing cultural boundaries and is the center of learning and cultural experiences." Mr. Liu continues to teach here because he feels that OACC deeply cares about and helps out its teachers and students, and welcomes people of all different background and cultural understandings.
Meet Mr. Liu at OACC's Lunar New Year Festival on February 10th!
