A Quick Opening Message...

Thank you for the opportunity to serve on the Georgia District Youth Committee representing Section One. It is typically through the youth and hyphen years that callings are confirmed, ministries are birthed, and life trajectories are established. These years represent one of the greatest opportunities we have been granted to impact our culture and reach our world.

Knowing this, it's an honor to continue to serve. Thank you for your trust and support. On behalf of the GDYM, I would also like to thank all of our local pastors, youth pastors, and leaders for your support of our sectional and district youth events, and the hard work and financial sacrifice displayed in your giving to Sheaves for Christ.

We have several youth events coming up in our Section and I'm very excited about each one. Please encourage your Youth, Hyphens, Youth Workers, Student Leadership, and any interested members of your leadership team to attend. I know you'll be blessed by each event and will surely reap the rewards in your local assembly.

"Momentum" - Section One Youth Rally
Friday, February 22, 2019 @ 7:30pm

The Pentecostals of Brunswick have offered to host a Youth Rally for Section One. There will be an afterburner in the POB gym immediately following service. There is a small cost for the afterburner of $5 per person. This includes pizza, a drink, and access to all of the games and activities happening that night including volleyball, cornhole, and more!. The event is open to everyone, including Hyphens. Section One Youth Leadership Summit
Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 10:00am

Since 2015, we have hosted the annual Section One Youth Leadership Summit. We’ve seen attendance rise and excitement build with each coming year! In times past, we’ve experienced a scheduling conflict with the annual Mentorship Conference in College Park on the first weekend of March. In order to accomodate this event, we're moving the Summit back a week to Saturday, March 9th, 2019 at 10:00am.

We're also excited to announce that Bro. Ryan French will be our special speaker for the Summit! You won't want to miss it! We'll be meeting at Cornerstone UPC in Jesup and are looking forward to an enlightening, encouraging, and engaging time of fellowship and learning! There is no cost for the event and both lunch and childcare will be provided. Please encourage your youth workers, student leadership, and any interested members of your leadership team to attend.

We'll be sending out more information and promotional materials as we get closer to the event. We'll also be posting information on our Section One Youth website, www.sectiononeyouth.org and, as always, you can visit the site anytime to access files from past summits.
