The weekend and beyond at EFCMM

We are excited to host the multi-church youth retreat for our worship service. We have reserved space in the first few rows of the sanctuary for all 100 of them! We hope that you will embrace the opportunity to welcome them, perhaps sit in a different spot, and, shoulder-to-shoulder, worship our awesome God with them!

Sermon
If you’ve ever been to the Illinois Statehouse or the U.S. Capitol Building, you’ve probably seen artwork that captures several scenes that are significant to American history. Psalm 107 gives several scenes from the history of redemption, all of them depicting God’s saving power and love. The point of it all is that we see the pattern of God’s redemption, cry out to him in our time of need, and give him thanks for his steadfast love. Come and find your place in the story of salvation and the song of praise!

Quarterly Congregational Meeting at 8:30 AM
All adults are invited to this “family meeting.” After brief reports regarding church finances and other business, we will consider our mission to reach new people for Christ in 2019. Included in this discussion will be our strategy for outreach and how some of our small groups will be included in this effort. We are all partners in this mission, so please join us.

Faith & Finances

Faith & Finances is a 12-week course designed to help you integrate the relationship between your faith, your family and your finances. Classes will meet on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM, beginning January 23, and will include supper and interaction with a financial "ally." Registration ends this Sunday and is open to 10 households. The cost is $20 per household.

Change for Life

Help support Hope Life Center through their Change for Life fundraiser. Please take home a baby bottle (in the foyer) and fill it with your spare change or cash. Please bring these back to church by Sunday, February 24.
