We are seeking a new foster or permanent home for Sweetie, a medium size senior hound mix.
Many of you are familiar with Sweetie's story. She was surrendered to a municipal shelter with her snout taped shut. The shelter was so taken by her spirit and tenacity that they reached out to us to see if we could help. Sweetie is again looking for a long term foster or preferably a permanent home. Sweetie is 10 years old and weighs about 45lbs. Although she may never be able to use her back legs again fully (she does have some motor function in both hind legs and swings them) she does well with the wheelchair. She ignores cats and is good with calm dogs (no pesky puppies).
Please share Sweetie's story. She deserves to live out the remainder of her life in a good home.
