February Write Then Socialise
Hi everyone,
It was great to see those of you who made it along to Rochester Library cafe last time - we're now all booked and raring to go again on Saturday, February 23rd.
It's 10.30am - 2.30pm, but I'll be in Miss Twinkleton's Cafe again from around 9.30am if anyone wants to stop by there for coffee and chat, before we head over the the library. And of course, you can drop in anytime between those times, it's that informal :)
For those who weren't aware, 'Write Then Socialise' is a nationwide initiative we're delighted to bring to Rochester. It's aimed at getting writers writing but also bringing them together to chat, as we all know it can be a lonely business. The idea is to write for a couple of hours, then chat. Or chat first or while you're writing - it's very informal and entirely up to you.
When & Where:
Saturday, February 23 from 10.30am-2.30pm in the Cafe at Rochester Library and Adult Education Community Hub. It's a couple of minutes walk from Rochester train station, with long stay car parks a few minutes walk the other way, opposite the old Rochester train station. The Cafe area is actually open till 4pm, if you wish to stay on and write more. Just remember to sign in at reception on arrival, for fire safety.
It's free, and there's no need to book. I look forward to seeing you there.
Save the date!
Murderous Medway 2019 has been pencilled in for Saturday, September 23rd, and will this year take place in The Huguenot Museum, upstairs at the Rochester Visitor Information Centre. Full details will come out to you first, as always.
All the best,
Jaye
