Volunteers sought
Hello again everyone, it's time for our twice-annual reunion on the idyllic river Washburn
Are you available to volunteer to provide Whitewater Safety and Rescue cover at the BUCS Wild Water Race? The dates are 23-24 February 2019 at the Canoe England River Washburn site. White Water Safety Volunteers get free food and hot and soft drink throughout the daytime. Ideally you'll hold the WWSR qualification but this isn't essential and if you have any level of training or rescue experience we will find a job that suits you. This is a good chance to hone safety and rescue skills with real swimmers in a semi-controlled environment.

- You mobile number
- Next of Kin name and contact number
- Any medical info we need to be aware of to keep YOU safe during the event (eg epilepsy, diabetes, recent surgery)
- When you're available (which days and any limitations on times on those days).
