Spring is coming--and so is a calendar of new events and programming at the Branches of the Latah County Library District...
HAPPENING IN OUR LIBRARIES:
WINE, CHOCOLATE AND POETRY
Potlatch community members are invited to Friends of the Potlatch Library’s fourth annual Wine, Chocolate, and Poetry event at the Potlatch Public Library on Friday, February 8, from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. There will be poetry readings by Stacy Boe Miller, Michael Riley, and Zachary Turpin. FUN WITH MATH AND SCIENCE
Kids ages 5 and up and their families are invited to the Deary Community Library for Fun with Math and Science! Thursday, February 21 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. we'll build a candy catapult. Thursday, March 7 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. we'll play math games! Fun with Math and Science is an Idaho Commission for Libraries program, with funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. READ TO A DOG
Youth ages 4-12 are invited to the Juliaetta Community Library where they can read to a furry friend the first Monday of each month from 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Registration is required. Contact Juliaetta Branch Manager Erin Davis at 208-276-7071 or juliaetta@latahlibrary.org for more information.

TRACY MORRISON
Join us in April and May for our district wide series Historical Idaho Women Stories and Folksongs, by folksinger, songwriter, and storyteller Tracy Morrison. Stay tuned for more info! This event is made possible by the generous support of the Idaho Humanities Council, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Latah County Library Foundation.

CHASE THE CHILL
Moscow Public Library is a drop-off location for Chase the Chill donations! We invite you to donate winter weather accessories to those in need for the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Palouse's Chase the Chill initiative. Beginning now and continuing through the winter, new handmade or purchased hats, scarves, gloves, and mittens may be placed in the donation bin inside the library's entryway during business hours. IT'S YOUR LUCKY DAY!
You're invited to browse the new Lucky Day Book collection, a selection of the our catalog’s most popular books, available on a first-come, first-served basis. You must visit the Moscow library in person to check out books from the Lucky Day collection. No holds may be placed on Lucky Day items, but they are listed in the Valnet catalog. You can check out two Lucky Day items per library card at one time. Check outs are for two weeks, with no renewals. The Lucky Day Book collection is located in the new book section of the Moscow Public Library. Find your Lucky read today!
BOOK CLUBS
Join us for Moscow Public Library's monthly Afternoon Tea Book Club on the third Tuesday of each month at 1:30 p.m.!

WONDER WIZARDS
Wonder Wizards, Moscow Public Library's After-School Library STEAM Club, is returning this spring for a six-week series focused on KINDNESS! Kids age 8-14 are invited to join us on Tuesdays from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. on the following dates:

- February 12
- February 19
- February 26
- March 5
- March 19
- March 26

No grownups are allowed at Wonder Wizards, and children younger than 8 are asked to remain with their adult in our picture book room during the program. This program is free and open to youth age 8-14. Space and supplies are limited.
