SACSCOC Quiz
ETBU has selected a Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) as a part of its SACSCOC reaffirmation process entitled Thrive: Cultivating Student Success through intentional mentoring. To educate faculty and staff on the program's goals, the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness has created a weekly quiz. There will be weekly prizes for those who answer correctly and a grand prize for the individual who has the best overall score. To test your knowledge, click here.

PARKING NOTICE
Tiger football will host prospective students on campus tomorrow, Tuesday, February 5. To accommodate parking for these hopeful future Tigers, 25 spaces in the lot adjacent to Scarborough Hall and Marshall hall will be reserved. Once all of the guests have arrived, University Security will reopen the lot for regular use by the campus community. Thank you for helping to ensure our guests have a positive experience as they consider becoming a Tiger!

SUBMIT PRAYER REQUESTS ONLINE.
This semester, please be in prayer for the University chapel services. Pray that each of the speakers will clearly articulate the message God has placed on their heart. Ask that our students put aside distractions to be receptive. Also, pray for our student bands as they lead their peers, faculty, and staff in worship. Pray for the chapel experience to continue to be a time for the ETBU community to worship the Lord in Spirit and Truth.

Lift up the Baptist Student Ministry (BSM) Ignite services, weekly worship gatherings that takes place each Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. in the Lampsato Chapel. Please pray for BSM Director David Griffin and the Ignite leadership team as they encourage students to attend Ignite and build relationships.

SPRING ENROLLMENT
ETBU CELEBRATES CONTINUOUS GROWING ENROLLMENT FOR THE SPRING 2019 SEMESTER
East Texas Baptist University has a total Spring 2019 enrollment of 1,398 students, an almost two percent increase from Spring 2018. Graduate enrollment has grown more than four percent from Fall 2018. The University maintains a high undergraduate student retention rate of 88 percent. The University’s collaborative student learning-centered, retention initiatives have led to a unified and strengthened campus community for an overall enriched Christ-centered college experience for all students.
