VFW January News

Post News by Commander Perry Taylor

January brought Mid-Winter Conference in Yakima with an awards dinner for our Scholarship program. Our District 15 did very well with Post 5056 Sedro Woolley with the 1st place winner, Lucy Crosby, in Patriot's Pen and Post 1585 Bellingham having the 5th place winner, Annika Morse, for Voice of Democracy. We are so proud of our talented students! VFW Priority Goals have been announced, check them out here.

Our next monthly post meeting will be Feb. 4th at 7 pm, but be sure to join us at 6:30 for our joint meeting. District 15 meeting will be Feb.10th at Post 1585 Bellingham with lunch/light snack at 11:30 and meeting at 1 pm. We will be having a memorial service for all of our departed members. Post 7392 has lost 31 members in the last year. We need to keep our membership strong in activities and numbers, so if you know of a qualified veteran please assist them in joining our great organization. No one does more for veterans! Happy Valentine's Day!
