Image Processing

Extension: Image - Processor Script :

  • A Bruker Skyscan file reader is implemented which directly takes Bruker CT scan log-file as input.
  • A range threshold function was added which is known from Scanco IPL.

FEA Analysis

NEW: Image - Converter FEA Script generates Abaqus/Calculix input decks  from CT images without the need of creating text-based template files.

Extension: Solve - Calculix Script can convert CCX/FRD result files to VTK format in order to visualize results in ParaView.

Data Analysis

NEW: Analyze - Grid Data Script: Reads XLSX or CSV grid data results (FEA mesh data) and sets-up a Python Pandas data structure for data analysis. The input data files are generally data distributed in space, e.g. from finite element analyzes or from whole bone analyzes. An ID (element or node ID) is associated with each data point to allow inter specimen comparisons.

3D Printing

Extension: Fabricate - 3D Print Script was further developed. It creates and visualizes STL surfaces from FEA models or segmented 3D images. The STL files can directly used for 3D printing.
