ELDER ISLAND

'The Omnitone Collection'

Elder Island are currently embarking on an extensive world tour in celebration of their debut LP 'The Omnitone Collection'. Selling out dates in London, Amsterdam, Berlin, San Francisco and New York so far, the band are proving to be an exceptional live outfit, with even more UK dates added for the Autumn. The Bristolian trio previewed an exclusive range of electronic hardware from 'The Omnitone Collection' on their Home Shopping Channel. There's even free credit on your first order while stocks last.

PI JA MA

'Nice To Meet You'

French alt-pop artist Pi Ja Ma (Pauline De Tarragon) provided the perfect antidote for the winter blues in the form of syrupy surfer pop. Pauline's debut album is a kaleidoscopic stroke of futurist pop, paying homage to classic 60s idols including Bowie and The Kinks. Make sure you tune into BBC 6 Music where her tracks have been receiving heavy rotation from Steve Lamacq, Amy Lamé and Radcliffe & Maconie. Lauren Laverne revealed the album as her "favourite record at the moment” and described 'Sugar Sugar' as "a life changer". Pi Ja Ma can't wait to meet you.

FOLEY

'Stranger'

New Zealand duo Foley released the glossy pop anthem 'Stranger' at the beginning of the year, drawing widespread support from a number of taste-maker blogs including Earmilk, Atwood Magazine and Fame Magazine. The pair have captured the heart of millennial pop with their cleverly crafted melodies, and performed at New Zealand’s largest New Year's festival Rhythm & Vines at the beginning of the year.

TALU

'Butterflew'

Drawing inspiration from guitar-pop giants Foals, The Wombats and Bombay Bicycle Club, Talu release their own storming indie-rock anthem with 'Butterflew'. The trio are already proving to be a firm favourite among the critics, securing support from The Line of Best Fit and Pop Matters with their second single. Keep an eye out for more indie jams as the group gear up to release even more tracks later on in the year.
