super bowl vortex
This could be the Patriots' last ride. It turns out last year was not. Or the year before that. Or two years before that. I'll believe it's over when it's finally over. They're going to beat the Rams on Sunday and win their sixth Super Bowl in 17 years. Unreal. This is how it could go down:
The Patriots will unleash their new found running game. And Brady and the passing game will exploit the Rams secondary. Head-body-head-body. Meanwhile, on defense, they'll take away the Rams' best weapon: play-action passing. They'll force the Rams to do things on offense they don't normally want to do, limit their big play ability and force some mistakes. Head-body-head-body.
That, or Belichick will come up with an entirely new scheme that none of us have ever thought of.
The Rams are really good. But they're inexperienced and flawed. The Patriots aren't having it. Pats win going away.
+ The Patriots are the greatest dynasty in NFL history.
+ The script has flipped since the first Patriots-Rams Super Bowl.
+ How the Rams survived the catastrophic Jeff Fisher era. This is nuts. As smart as the Rams look today, they were duped for years by an all-time NFL coaching con-man.
+ The last Super Bowl in Atlanta was pure chaos.
+ NFL pundits slammed the Patriots when they traded for Bill Belichick in 2000.
