This Thursday, Haringey Full Council will vote to include Pinkham way in the North London Waste Plan (NLWP).

It’ll be a whipped vote, but it’s vital that Councillors pushing through this undeliverable conservation site know that we’re watching them do it.

Join us in the gallery at Haringey Civic Centre, from 7pm (265 High Road, Wood Green, N22 8ZW)

At least some dissenters will speak in our favour from the chamber floor and I'm sure they'll value your presence.

Even if it means braving snow, please be there if you can.

HARINGEY CALLING OUR VOICES 'A PETITION'

As many of you know, we’ve had replies from Haringey to our angry emails about its untrue description of our individual consultation responses as a ‘petition’.

Thank you to those who got in touch to let us know about this.

We'll certainly be following up on this as soon as there's time. No need for you to do anything for now.

The Council letter calls for ‘evidence’, of which there is plenty - much of it we've already pointed out to them. Someone at the Council is playing games, and we’ve no intention of letting them get away with it.
