A 7-day retreat dedicated to the Bodhisattva of Great Compassion

March 23 - 31, 2019

How do we relate to others? Spiritual practice is a 24/7 way of life, and our relationships are reflections of ourselves. If we look carefully, we see our unresolved habits, triggers, and issues. But we also see the gateway to gratitude, kindness, and respect.

Guan Shi Yin Bodhisattva as the embodiment of Great Compassion guides us back to our capacity to listen deeply to ourselves and other people. In fact her name literally means "She Who Hears the Sounds of the World." She listens to each of us. Guan Yin Bodhisattva is also our own heart of kindness. Through the Dharma practice of Guan Yin recitation, we begin to hear ourselves: our cries and laughter, our fears and strengths, our pain and joy.

Come join us for a week of recitation, meditation, and self-reflection immersed in a spiritual community, the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas. This is a chance to disconnect from our digital devices, reconnect to our inner wisdom and compassion, and form a true network of caring relationships with those around us.
