2019 Will be a Milestone Year for the Sport for All Movement!
En route for a better world through Sport for All by 2030, TAFISA will be focusing on the development and implementation of its Mission 2030, which is now supported by organisations from over 70 countries. In an effort to better answer the needs of local communities, TAFISA will continue to explore opportunities to work with its regional networks through new programmes and collaborations, in particular in Africa, the Americas and Oceania, while strengthening its current activities in Europe and in Asia. We will also develop new services for our members and broaden our communication through a new Mission 2030 platform.
Our highlights in 2019 are:
- 1st TAFISA World Martial Arts Festival, Ulyanovsk, Russia (13-17 September)
- 26th TAFISA World Congress, Tokyo, Japan (13-17 November)
- TAFISA - African Union Sport Council Region 5 Project
In addition, TAFISA will keep sharing knowledge and experience to train the future leaders of the Sport for All movement through our Certified Leadership Courses (CLC) worldwide. First CLCs are planned in Israel, Portugal and ten African countries from Region 5. Applications are still open (Application Form).
Like every year, the TAFISA World Challenge Day will take place on May 29th, 2019 and the TAFISA World Walking Day on October 5th-6th.
