The time is NOW! The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ national elections are going on from Feb. 1-15. No polling places, booth boxes – you can do this from the comfort of your own home, and even start your ballot, save it and come back to it at a later time. It’s so easy, and the future of the profession depends on everyone’s participation.
Project Vote is a friendly competition among DPGs/MIGs (grouped by membership size) to see which can get the most members to participate in the election. The DPG/MIG with the highest percentage of voter turnout will receive a free FNCE® 2019 registration, which, when we’ve won in the past, NE has given to one lucky member via randomized drawing. We won this in 2017 (34%), came close in 2018 (22%), and are hoping to reclaim our crown in 2018. Can we get 50% of NE members to vote this year?? YES WE CAN!
