February 7th: PRSA Breakfast from 7:30am-9:00am at Texas Women's University. "Tacos, Donuts & Crisis Communications." Two public relations professionals are sharing their experiences in crisis communications. Learn all about the world of crisis from Rick Rainey, the Vice President of Public Relations, and John Randal (Randy) Burkhalter, the Vice President of Investor Relations at Enterprise Products Partners.

February 12th: Lesley Butcher presents The Art of Story Telling. Storytelling is powerful, and Lesley Butcher knows how to tell a tale. She is a communications instructor at San Jacinto Community College by day and a Moth Storytelling Slam champion by night. Learn the art and research behind using storytelling to communicate. Join us at our next PRSSA Houston meeting Tuesday, February 12, from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Student Center South - Skyline Room.

Professor and PRSSA Faculty Advisor Julie Fix illustrated the benefits of becoming a member of PRSA, our post-graduation professional organization.

LANDING INTERNSHIPS
Director of Public Relations for the Houston Zoo and PRSSA Professional Advisor Jackie Wallace explained the importance of graduating with internships under your belt.
