Thank you for bringing in the New Year with us, 2019 is sure to be an exciting time! Coming off of our Supernova Gala in December, we were determined to hit the ground running. Here is a quick look back on the month of January...

 The Hearst Foundation awarded more than $6 million in grants to 13 non-profit organizations in California, including an award towards our school-based literary programs. The foundation announced grant recipients after their quarterly board meeting Dec. 11.

Literati Fellow and former Get Lit Player, Chelsea Summer was featured in Learn4Life's video showing her transformation from a mentee to a mentor, and her passion as a Get Lit Player and Poet.
