Join us for WORSHIP
Be A Little Kinder Everyday!

At the beginning of the Epiphany we invited you to do some random acts of kindness and document them by writing them down on index cards. We would like to get your card with your acts of kindness between now and the beginning of Lent, which is Sunday, March 10th. The card can be anonymous. We would like to use them as inspiration for Lent and Easter.

Family SUNDAY
We welcome all families and especially children and youth to be part of and participate in the worship service as part of our commission to pass on the faith to new generations.
NOISY OFFERING to be collected by our kids and youth at the end of the service. Remember to bring your change!

This year’s recipient of funds is Good Bridge Community, a new organization with a mission to help the economic struggling and homeless people in Summit County. Their goal is to see that everyone has a place to call home and to prosper in this glorious gift of life. Good Bridge Community collaborates with the Summit Interfaith Council and other community leaders to address the stigma of homelessness and find sustainable solutions.

😊Saying Good-bye to Katie Romanoski 😢
(Sunday, February 17th, following worship)

Our beloved Katie will be moving from Summit County at the end-of-the month to Lake George, New York, where her son and younger grandchildren live.
We have created many memories with Katie over the years. We enjoyed her art, her creativity, her management skills, and her passion for Christ's ministry.
Let us create a LOVE BOX for her with your cards reflecting on your relationship with her over the years. Plan on staying for cake on Sunday, February 17th, which will be her "last" Sunday. However, we will feel her spirit every Sunday as her beautiful banners hang in the sanctuary. We will miss you!

LOTM Reusable Bags

Visitors will be welcomed on Sundays with LOTM reusable bags.  Thanks to Nancy Sims for initiating this idea and Doug and her donation to pay for the first order.  If you would like to purchase one for your use, you may buy them at the church office or from Bonnie Brown or Karen Johns on Sundays. Cost will be $5 so we can start a fund for future orders.   A great way to help take care of God's creation and advertise about Lord of the Mountains.

LOTM Website
Please, click once a day on our website link: http://lordofthemountains.org. The more "clicks" are there, the higher our position on Google analytics. Which means that when a total stranger is looking for a church and is using Google search for Lutheran churches in the area, our church website will show up first. Whether you read something or not on our website is irrelevant. You just need to open the web page once (or more times) a day. THANK YOU! pastor

Paying Your Pledge With Cash
If you are paying your pledge with cash, we need to acknowledge the source of the cash. Please put cash in a pledge envelope, located on the name tag table, and put your name on it and place in the offering plate. Thank you so much for all gifts on money, time, and talent to LOTM.

In addition, 2018 contribution statements are available in the narthex. Statements will be mailed out of area and to season members and friends.

Gratitude
We are so blessed to have this awesome extended family at LOTM. Your prayers, concerns, cards, and visits have helped us take this unexpected medical  journey. Thank you Pastor Liliana and Karen Johns for holding our hands spiritually as we recounted all the miracles that told us God was not ready to greet Ben yet. We look forward to thanking you all personally and continuing to serve God.
