Hi everybody, happy belated New Year!

I hope you had a great start of 2019, we spend the holidays in New York and it began with a documentary feature about our edible performance art show on Japanese Television NHK, (13 million viewers). They filmed us while going to the galleries, while enjoying some art, when at the Market in the Bronx, in our Brooklyn home on the big blue couch and yes, during the ChocoJazz show at Der Pioneer in Brooklyn!! The feature became a 6-minute Japanese introduction of our project, and here you can see it!

We want to thank all our friends as well as Bjorn and Greg from Der Pioneer, Original Beans, Le Nouveau Chef, Koppert Cress, and Catalonia Plates and of course Shiho from NHK – catch.

In other news, I've started a new collaboration with Retrouvaille - a duo with Armand Bernardi on modular synth and Federico Balducci on guitar. Its really spacy, super creative and I love working with them, we played a few amazing shows already and the next one is tonight in the 'Best Video Film and Cultural Center' - Hamden, Connecticut. - Wanna listen? You can find some sounds on my Instagram.

Also coming up, if you are in Boston on Tuesday, February 5th, I'll play an improvisation set with Kenny Werner, Nat Mugavero, James Robbins and Matt Stubbs At the Lilypad Inman Square, opening for us is Federico Balducci.

From February 12 - March 3rd Teddy and I will travel to the Netherlands and I'll be playing a few livingroom concerts. - They are pretty much sold out, but there is space in a few rooms. (Click the link if you want to know more, or if you have a living room I can add to the tour). On that note, I'm also available for lessons/masterclasses!

I wish you all the best for this year to come and I hope to see you soon!

Love, Viv

P.s. My most recent Q&A and video-jam is with guitar player Eddy Marshall.
