Provisions February Calendar

Welcome to February!
Here we are, ankle-deep in 2019, and the water is feeling mighty fine. Hopefully everybody survived January's "Full Wolf Moon" and lunar eclipse without too much damage. We're big fans of both astronomy and astrology, so we really enjoyed it.

Music, beer, and food continue to be the focus as we enter our fifth year of business. February brings the return of two regulars here at Provisions- Miss Lonely Hearts with their high-energy California Country and The Damn Liars with their swampy western rock & roll. Highway 49 will perform, but with an exciting lineup change for this month; drummer Jim Adair (Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash fame) will fly out from chilly Chicago to celebrate his birthday with us here in Sutter Creek and to play with Darin's band!

Our presence in the world of craft beer and the great relationships we continue to build are evident in both the bottleshop and the draught beer selections each week. We are so fortunate to have access to some of the most delicious and sought-after brands in the industry, and our quest for the best variety and selection around is why we come to work...that and the fact that we absolutely love beer!

Provisions Pantry is filling bellies and pleasing palates every week, and there are more good things coming in the near future. Tim continues to evolve in the kitchen, and the flavors and foods he creates from the Pantry are so original and satisfying. Miss Lonely Hearts

Miss Lonely Hearts- started in the central valley of CA- is a band that lays down hard driving Honky Tonk/Rock & Roll. Their sound was created out of a deep authentic understanding and appreciation of the roots country music that evolved in this nation. Their lead singer/songwriter was introduced to traditional country at a very young age and perfected his gut bucket vocal stylings singing George Jones and Hank Sr. tunes on the streets for change. At the same time their percussionist was living in New Orleans learning to play on a homemade suitcase drumkit. Their Upright bassist is the energy core of the band and gets every man in the crowd dancing and every girl in the crowd swooning. Every song is a dark, drunken, broken hearted hymn set to an unavoidably danceable tempo and intended to drive a crowd to a near fever pitch.

Chuck Bradley and The Damn Liars are purveyors of true american rock and roll. Hailing from northern California. The Damn Liars put on an explosive live performance heavily steeped in American vintage rock and roll, country and blues. The Damn Liars released their debut EP, American Ghost Town in April of 2018. Produced by Grammy award winner, Michael Rosen, each track from the new EP is a snapshot of the band filled with history and emotion. From liquor soaked honky-tonk, to blues and rock and roll, Chuck Bradley and The Damn Liars give a fresh and simple take on the complex issues of love, life, hurt and death.
