Funding for the Wildlife Garden and Pond
We are pleased to announce that the Friends of Ruskin Park has been awarded a grant from the Mayor of London's Greener City Fund to improve our Wildlife Garden.

This is an established space (next to the railway line and the tennis courts) with a pond serving as an important habitat in the park, as well as a number of fruit trees and bushes. However, with more care and some improvements it could be a better space for the whole community to experience nature. You can read more about our plans here.

The park's main pond should also be getting some attention this year, as the charity Froglife included this in their own successful bid to the fund. We are looking forward to working with them again.

To get involved join us tomorrow from 10am to 12.30pm and again on Saturday 16th February when we will get started relocating some struggling fruit trees to better locations, with help from Lambeth Council officers. See the Facebook event for details.

Donate a Bench

You can now make a donation to replace a bench in Ruskin Park, and celebrate a special occasion or loved one.

We will purchase and install a new high-quality metal bench when you make a donation of £850 or more. Click here to find out more.
