Sermon Series in Luke
This week we return to The Gospel according to Luke, covering 11:14-36. In this passage, even though Jesus has done a miracle, some people write him off. The warning in this text still stands today: If you judge Jesus as something less than the Messiah, it's you who will come up short in the end. Hard words--but words we need to hear.
Communion Sunday
We will observe Communion on Sunday. An offering box will be in the foyer to receive your Helping Hand offering for the needy in our church and community.
Small Groups
There will not be a unified structure and schedule for small groups this winter/spring. We are encouraging our people to start different kinds of groups—small or large, focusing on study or prayer, fellowship or mission. We are praying that this freedom and flexibility will allow us to connect to more people. Contact Pastor Bruce if you plan to start/lead/host a group. And let us know how it goes! There will be a general sign-up for those who would like to connect to the groups that will be getting underway soon.
