Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.

Prayers for Rincon Valley Christian School
We learned last night that RVC plans to close its school after this year. It is a huge loss for the Christian community here in Sonoma County. We have too few Christian educational opportunities in the region. Many of our alumni have gone onto to a rich education in the 7th-12th grades at RVC. Our prayer are with the current families who will be looking for new schools next fall. If you know of any students looking for K-6th grade please tell them about our wonderful school!

PHCS Pizzeria Fun Friday
Last Friday, Ms. Porter planned a little tour to Italy for Fun Friday with our Buddies!  Buddies helped one another make little pizzas as we remembered the continent of Europe and the missionaries serving there to bring the Good News to those who don't know.

Chapel

This week, Tim Dabel from Kids for the Kingdom came to share at chapel.  He showed us pictures of Germany and even a piece of the Great Wall that divided Eastern and Western Germany years ago.  We saw pictures of the children who go to the Bible Camps and heard of the stories where parents heard about Jesus through their children!  We will continue to pray for these Bible camps and those leading them, that many children would come to know Jesus and His great love for them.  He passed around some Euros to touch.  Next week, we turn in the money for the banks, so keep saving and earning money for those we've heard from in Europe!

History Day
The 4-6th graders were celebrating a job well done on finishing their history projects!  They opened up their classroom for parents and other classes to come view their projects, ask questions, and see the hard work they've invested.  We had several Early American projects with Native Americans and Pilgrims.  We had a Women's Suffrage presentation, Hetch Hetchy and the National Parks,  and an Apollo 13 project too!  One group presented a website they designed about Mt. Vesuvius, complete with pictures of spewing lava, which made the younger students gasp!  Congratulations to all the 4-6th graders on completing a large project with research and creative presentation ideas!
The day after the presentations, Ms. Kinser planned a fun field trip to Shultz Museum and Ice Skating in the afternoon!  Work hard, play hard!
