Happy February! It's here at last, and with it the promise of longer days, hopeful bulbs pushing through the frozen earth, and a sense of awakening. If you feel in need of some creativity, fancy learning something new, need help with your small business or just want to meet some like-minded folk, we have lots of exciting new events, workshops and gatherings coming up.

This Friday we are running a great workshop with Ziska Design for anyone looking to establish or build on their Brand Identity and to understand the power of good Graphic Design and how to access it in an affordable way.

Next week sees the return of our popular 'The Art of Modern Calligraphy Workshop' with talented artist Becca Cherry- just four spaces left!

Exciting news for West-Country creatives, we're hitting the road and heading to Bristol on the 21st for another pop-up 'Kinship Gatherings' bringing you a fun workshop, the opportunity to meet and collaborate with fellow creatives and a pop-up vintage shop, all fuelled by fizz and nibbles!

Following our sell-out Photography & Styling Workshop in Surrey last month we have added a Colchester date where talented photographer Cathy Pyle will be teaching you how to take your SLR out of auto mode and sharing her top photography tips, following a delicious lunch and glass of fizz we will be talking about story telling through Styling and giving you lots of great ideas for styling your photographs to create eye catching and memorable images.

March sees the return of another popular hands on workshop: 'The Art of Modern Macrame' with Kerrie Mitchell where we will be making beautiful macrame hangings on branches.

For Small business owners and creatives our next local 'Kinship Gatherings' is coming up in March where you can meet like-minded people to seek/share advice and take part in a workshop run by experienced Coach Cathie Jeannot aimed at turning our weaknesses into strengths and overcoming the dreaded Imposter Syndrome.

Local seasonal florist Emma Spowage is back with Part II of our popular 'Creating a Cutting Garden workshop' where we will be showing you how to get planting and planning your cutting garden for the year ahead, as well as getting creative with a  fun Spring craft.

Finally, we have an exciting new event in collaboration with Bright and Well Studios aimed at Nourishing your Mind, Body and Soul where we will be offering a yoga class, delicious healthy lunch and a creative workshop. Perfect for a Mothers Day gift, some time out with a friend or just some 'you' time.
