We Need your Help in 2019!!

Below you will find some of our goals and plans for 2019. Please pray and consider how you can partner with us to advance Christ's kingdom work on earth. "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Mat. 6.33).

2019 Ministry & Missions Trips

We are planning two missions/ministry trips in 2019, one in the spring and the other in the fall. In the spring our goal is to send a group of four men to San Lucas del Cabo, Mexico with an emphasis on men's ministry and the Freedom House ministry. You can make an online donation using this LINK.

2019 Legacy Fund

Each year we remember and honor Doug & Alice Johnston, the founders of GME by awarding an endowment for two special initiatives. These initiatives will be announced in spring 2019. For more info regarding the legacy fund link HERE. You can make an online donation using this LINK.

2019 Special Projects

We have two special projects for 2019: Coolshade Church in Jamaica has an urgent need for repairs. For more info please go HERE. Freedom House in San Lucas del Cabo is needing some upgrades and repairs. For more info please go HERE. You can make an online donation using this LINK.

From the President's Pen

The scripture that I have held onto these past weeks has been found in Joshua 1.7-9: “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

After 40 years of wondering in the wilderness it was time for the people of God to enter the long awaited "promised" land. Infuriated armies would oppose them, and giants would stand in their way. However, God promised to be with Joshua and every place that he would place his foot would be given to him and the Israelites (Josh 1.3). All Joshua had to do was be strong in the Lord, not be afraid and not become discouraged.

At every turn over the past several months we have faced challenges that have shaken our lives and our faith to the very core. I have held onto these words and promises and constantly had to choose not to fear or become discouraged. By making a choice to have faith and not give up I have experienced a sense of victory and strength to keep going.

No matter what your circumstances, I encourage you to take hold of the words written in Joshua chapter 1. God promises that He will never leave or forsake us, and if He is on our side - then HE will fulfill His promises and bring success! I believe that 2019 will be a year of destiny for myself, my family and those who choose to obey and walk courageously with the Lord!
