Health equity, the creation of accessible pathways to health resources and benefits for everyone in the community, is a growing focus of attention in health care. Factors that influence one’s wellbeing, such as economic status, jobs, transportation, housing and the neighborhood you live in, are now seen and understood as critical determinants of health. At this year's Health & Nature Forum, we'll consider the role nature plays in community health and how to advocate for it.

The event will include a keyhote speaker (to be announced soon), moderated panel, and roundtable discussions. Presenters include Zeenia Junkeer, Executive Director of the Oregon Health Equity Alliance; Rujuta Gaonkar, Community Benefits, Kaiser Permanente; and Dr. Minot Cleveland, Legacy Health. Join these and other community health and conservation leaders for an in-depth exploration of a range of health equity-related issues.

It's free, and the space is wheelchair accessible.
