JROTC is a new program at Lake Hamilton that will begin in the 2019-20 school year. Students in grades 9 - 12 are eligible to participate and can register for the program during student course selections this spring.

Championship Recognition
The 2009 Lake Hamilton Lady Wolves basketball team will be recognized during the Lake Hamilton vs Lakeside game on Friday at LH Wolf Arena.  

Trap Team Meeting
A mandatory meeting for those interested in being a member of the Lake Hamilton Trap Team will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29.  The meeting will take place in the high school agri room.  Enter through the CTE building doors for the meeting.  Contact steve.johnson@lhwolves.net for more information. 

Character Education Pep Rally
Lake Hamilton Elementary School will hold a character education pep rally on Thursday, January 31st.  The students and staff will be celebrating the word honesty!  

SCHOOL BOARD HIRES NEW SUPERINTENDENT

The Lake Hamilton School District Board of Education voted unanimously Tuesday night to hire Associate Superintendent Shawn Higginbotham as the new superintendent. Following the board's action, a near capacity crowd offered a standing ovation.

Higginbotham has served in the Lake Hamilton School District for 18 years. 13 of those years, he has served as the associate superintendent. He will succeed Superintendent Steve Anderson, who will serve until June 1.

JUNIOR HIGH VALENTINE ROYALTY

Lake Hamilton Junior High recently announced the 2019 Valentine Royalty. The ceremony and dance will be held on Saturday, February 23. The ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the junior high gym. Following the ceremony, the dance will be held in the junior high cafeteria from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Cost for the dance is $5 per person. Only students at Lake Hamilton Junior High are permitted in the dance.

Harrison Carrouth, 8th grade student at Lake Hamilton Junior High,recently won the junior high National Geographic Bee.
