During Rev. Michelle Slater's sabbatical, lay members of the congregation will lead worship from time to time.  This Third Sunday of Epiphany is the first occasion.

With scripture and song as inspiration, we are jointly invited to reflect on the light of Epiphany (no pun intended) and to understand Jesus' declaration of the nature of his ministry to the poor and recovery of sight to the blind.  We need light to be able to see, and we also need to have our eyes open!  With eyes and minds open, let us bask in God's light as we gather together this Sunday morning.
