Our speaker will be Melinda Gardner, the Executive Director of the APPLE Pregnancy Care Center in Eau Claire.
Melinda is the longest serving Care-Net PCC Director in the nation. She has been at APPLE since it opened in 1981. She is an alumni of Hillcrest Academy, and Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois.
Melinda writes and speaks regularly on Abortion and Pregnancy Center Ministry, and teaches young people about “Love, Sex and Healthy Relationships.”
She received the Perseverance Award from Care-Net in 2014, and was selected for the Eau Claire Community Foundation Outstanding Achievement Award in 2015.
Melinda is married to Daniel Gardner, and is the mother of 2 adult daughters, and grandmother to 9 year old Braeden. She is the daughter of a pastor/seminary professor, and learned about ministry growing up. She is a watercolor artist and loves to travel, read and write.
