You know all those resolutions you made a few weeks ago...?

The ones that took something away? Carbs, sugar, maybe even chocolate (shudder)?

Allow me to propose giving yourself something.

Give yourself the gift of diving deeper into what you love.

Now through Friday, we've pulled Knit Stars 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 "out of the vault."

So you can learn from 31 of the world's most inspiring designers, dyers and thought leaders.

And you can start right now - no waiting for the next big event.

Here's the link with all the info.

And here's what some Knit Stars Owners posted about their personal experiences this week...

Last fall, we debuted the new Wool Addicts line at Loops.

The patterns and yarns were so fresh, they really flew off the shelves.

So when we heard they were planning a summer line, we were all like HECK YEAH.

Both of the new yarns, Happiness and Sunshine, are cotton-based. "Happiness," a ribbon tape cotton blend, is soft and lofty and supercute in the oversized "Endless Drifter" pullover with contrast whipstitching. Or make "Slow Stargazer" for an updated Audrey vibe (shown below in white), or "Let's Rebel" for a peek of shoulder.

The other new Wool Addicts yarn is "Sunshine," a smooth and shiny mercerized cotton. Our favorite pieces in Sunshine are "Like Sunbeams," a 6-ball shawl with an artistic, boho look...and "Fool's Paradise," a slouchy, v-neck pullover. All Wool Addicts patterns are on Ravelry and the palette is perfectly on-trend. Cast on now and add a great transitional piece to your summer wardrobe!

I've had this one in my queue for awhile...

Then I see that Loretta has already made one!

Just the kick in the butt I need to cast on :)

"Humulus" sweater by Isabell Kraemer is available on Ravelry, as is the "Brae" hat by Melissa Thomson that's also modeled below by the recipient of Loretta's efforts...her daughter, Meghan.

Shop Woolstock yarn to make either project, here.

How do you make a sweater if you've never, you know...made a sweater?

Or maybe you just wanna make another one that you really love...

With the support and encouragement of other yarn lovers?

Check out our Love Sweaters challenge.

It just kicked off this week, and we'll be closing it in a week or two.

It's just $19/month to join, and there are lots of benefits. You'll find them all listed here.

The LoopsLove Challenge group...it's the ultimate knitting hack :)

Ruth saw Gwyneth Paltrow make this on the Ellen Show, talking about Gwyneth's new book The Clean Plate: Eat, Reset, Heal ….

"My first thought was...what??? Cauliflower in a smoothie?" Ruth said. "But fear not - it gives the smoothie a creamy texture without the sugar of a banana! And you get a serving of a cruciferous veggie (weird name for a cancer fighter), not to mention the health benefits of blueberries. And it's gluten- and dairy-free! Yay - more healthy eating in January. Plus my hubs likes this!"

Blueberry Cauliflower Smoothie
3/4 cup of almond milk
1/2 cup of frozen blueberries
1/2 cup of cauliflower
1 TBSP almond butter
1/2 juice of a lime
1 date, pitted
Place all the ingredients in a Vitamin or high power blender and blend until smooth.

XOXO,
Shelley and the Loops Troops
