"Today is a very exciting day for us. My name is Brian Berman and I'm with Project Mañana -- and I have the privilege of being part of an international team of people. People who are just trying to invest in people, instead of things. I'm here in Julia's house in the community of San Pablo, Dominican Republic. And, right here, we have this precious little girl named Nicaury.

Nicaury has been in our program at Project Mañana for many years. She's always smiling... always participating... and is one of the favorites when people come to visit. The only thing is... Nicaury has never been able to hear. However, we discovered by taking Nicaury to the doctor that perhaps she just needs some hearing aids. So, after a lot of support... a lot of prayer... a lot of collecting of resources through her child sponsors, through churches in the United States, through Project Mañana, we're super excited that today we're going to take you on a journey from Nicaury's house to the doctor. This afternoon, Nicaury will have her very first hearing aids. And, by the grace of God, she'll be able to hear for the very first time ever.
